Dr. Brad Basch grew up outside of Orlando, Florida before attending the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. He then made the move to Durham, North Carolina to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. Soon after graduating, Dr. Basch found that there was a large, underserved population that he had the opportunity to help. People experiencing jaw and facial pain typically go years or even an entire lifetime without realizing that a conservative treatment option is out there for them.
Dr. Basch has spent an extensive amount of time researching, learning, and attending advanced training courses around the U.S. in order to specialize in orofacial physical therapy. He wants to be able to serve his community by providing the best possible care to those experiencing TMJ problems. This passion inspired him to start The Jaw Therapist!
After graduating from physical therapy school, Dr. Basch and his wife Jenn settled in Asheville, North Carolina. They quickly made Asheville their home, enjoying all of the local amenities. When not in the clinic, Brad enjoys running, playing soccer, and hiking the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains with his wife, son, and dog Griffin.
